Barinder Hothi is the Managing Director and Co-founder of the Fast Track 100-listed global education company, The Knowledge Academy. The company, which strives to be the 'Amazon' of the global education industry, was founded by Barinder and her husband Dilshad in April 2009. It offers 50,000 courses from 1000 locations, employs 220 people in Berkshire and posted a turnover of £23 million in 2014. Barinder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Kingston University and her previously worked in sales and account management for IBM and Microsoft, among others.
