Dr Bayju Thakar is a health entrepreneur and medical doctor. He is the co-Founder and former CEO of Doctor Care Anywhere,an online doctor consultation service. It operates via a smartphone app, a website or telephone. It claims to have more than 100,000 members via a string of corporate clients, including AXA PPP healthcare. Doctor Care Anywhere was acquired by Synergix Health, an investment and commercialisation accelerator for innovative digital health services and products, in 2015 and Bayju retained as the CEO.
Bayju is a former McKinsey & Company consultant with extensive experience across public, private and emerging market health systems across medical devices, pharmaceuticals and information technology industries. Bayju has a Medical degree and a Philosophy degree with honours from King’s College London.
