Deepali Nangia is an investor in tech/tech-enabled businesses. Most recently, she was Investment Director of Wild Blue, a West London angel investor network where she managed 50 angel investors and led investments in 20 companies, B2C, B2B and software. As Founder of Empower, Deepali is a keen supporter of women in tech/business and in her most recent role, supported investments in five female led tech businesses (and she personally invested in three of them). She has mentored at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, SHEROES India and for the Althea-Imperial women in tech program. Her most recent mentee was a winner of the Women in Innovation Awards at Innovate UK. Deepali is also an advisor at Trunkaroo, a female-led subscription based ed-tech business.
Originally from India, Deepali holds a BA in Economics degree from University of Rochester and an MBA in Finance from University of Rochester – William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, and started her career at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and at GE Equity in Greenwich, Connecticut before arriving in London in 2012.
