Dharmash Mistry is a Co-founder and CEO of Blow – a one-stop fast beauty destination. He was previously Partner at venture firm Balderton Capital from 2008 to 2012. He has 15 years of extensive experience launching, developing and acquiring businesses in the media, retail and consumer goods sectors. He spent eight years at Emap International, where he held a range of executive roles, including Managing Director of Emap Performance and he launched EMAP Digital’s 4Music offering. Before that he was the Managing Director of Bauer Consumer Media, hired to reform the United Kingdom consumer facing magazine group. He began his career in marketing for Proctor & Gamble and served as a Brand Manager, followed by a stint at The Boston Consulting Group from 1997 – 2000.
He has been a Director of British Broadcasting Corporation since 2014 and a Non-Executive Director of Hargreaves Lansdown Plc since 2011. He serves on the OFCOM Advisory Committee for England. He holds an M.Eng and a B.A. in Engineering, Economics, and Management from Oxford University and has previously served on the boards of several companies including Dixons Retail PLC and Lovefilm among others.
