Manas Abichandani is Co-Founder & CEO at Wallet Circle, a hyperlocal customer engagement platform through which brands and bricks and mortar retailers can engage with shoppers that are either in close proximity to or already inside a store, influencing their buying behaviour and in turn increasing sales. Using its proprietary POS Link product, Wallet Circle integrates iBeacons with any retail billing software offering same level of consumer insight previously only enjoyed by e-commerce operations. Wallet Circle began with mobile loyalty cards, initially solving the customer problems of forgetting cards and ‘wallet bulge’ but the technology is now being used to deliver a range of additional interactions. Wallet Circle already has more than 30 paying customers including Benugo (with 95 restaurants and cafes in London) and TCC Global (running worldwide) and is backed by UTKI. Manas who holds a Master’s in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and worked as a software engineer for Infosys and Qualcomm before setting up Wallet Circle in July 2014.
