28 tech companies join Tech Nation’s Future Fifty programme

28 new late-stage tech companies have joined Tech Nation’s Future Fifty programme having already raised over £1.4 billion and employing nearly 6,000 people. The new cohort of Future Fifty 8.0 companies includes Ali Parsa’s Babylon Health; Zia Hayat’s Callsign; Lewis Z Liu’s Eigen Technologies and Co-Founders Arif Meharali & Imran Arshed’s The Plum Guide, among the cohort with alumni that includes some of the biggest names in UK tech such as Deliveroo, Funding Circle, Skyscanner and Partnerize.

They solve challenges that organisations face in getting their users on to and interacting with their digital platforms easily and securely. They provide solutions to some of the world’s largest banks and offer “bank grade” identification to public and private sector clients of all sizes.

Eigen, London, AI @Eigen_Tech

Eigen is a research-led machine learning company based in London and New York. Their mission is to help individuals and organizations make the right decisions by unlocking the value of their qualitative data. Their simple, flexible natural language processing (NLP) product accurately extracts information from diverse types of documents at scale and can be integrated into clients’ workflows.

Solving the lack of quality control in the home rental space, The Plum Guide ditches flawed user reviews and instead, sorts and scours hundreds of thousands of vacation homes, inviting roughly 1 in every 100 tested homes to join their elite inventory.
