Athena Fund X & Radically Yours focus on women founders
Radically Yours, a US-based cross-border, purpose-driven investment bank focused on supporting women-owned funds and businesses, in collaboration with Athena FundX launched its London chapter on 29 June 2024. The theme for the launch was, “From Marginal to Mainstream: Women’s Rise in Leadership”, and it brought together women from the entrepreneurship and funds community to strengthen the sisterhood in the ecosystem. As one of the speakers, Lopa Patel MBE shared insights of her entrepreneurial career journey and spoke about the challenges faced by women founders in gaining funding and getting the right support and networking opportunities.
Radhika Bajoria, Founder of Radically Yours spoke about the initiative, a seamless platform that connects women-led funds and startups with top global investors. Radhika is one of the Top 20 Linkedin young influencers in India (with ~220k+ followers), and writes on innovative business ideas being adopted across the globe. She’s also recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women Leaders in Mumbai, India. Angie Madara and Parul Kushagra spoke about their experience of setting up Athena Fund X and its 1 Million Women campaign.

1 Million Women
The 1 Million Women And Youth Entrepreneurship campaign is an initiative launched by Athena FundX with the goal of bridging the gender gap that exists in entrepreneurship and funding. One key aspect of this initiative is the establishment of a fund for female and young entrepreneurs.
This fund is designed to provide critical seed and test funding for female and youth-led startups and help support their growth and development. The fund is open to women and youth entrepreneurs globally and would prioritise those from underrepresented backgrounds.
