Nominations open for the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2017 list

Nominations have opened for the third annual Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech list, published by Diversity UK in association with KPMG Tech Growth. The list showcases talent working in Britain’s digital industry, from startups and investors to ecommerce, edtech, fintech, healthtech entrepreneurs and business innovators. Previous recipients of the Chairman’s Award include Shankar Narayanan, Head of UK & Ireland for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) who received the accolade in 2016 and  Dinesh Dhamija, Founder & Chairman of Copper Beech Group, previously the founder of internet travel agency eBookers.com, who was honoured in 2015.

The purpose of the list is to celebrate the contribution made by British Asians to this country’s digital economy.  The aim is to address the issue of “invisibility” of Britain’s ethnic minority individuals at senior management level in the corporate world and to showcase a sector in which such individuals are “punching above their weight”, said list curator Lopa Patel, Founder & CEO of Diversity UK.

The Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech list is part curated and part nominated – nominations close at midnight on 31st March 2017 – with a panel of judges shortlisting the hundred individuals for the list which will be launched on Tuesday 6th June 2017 in London.

Nominations close at midnight on 31st March 2017.
