Quit Genius wins the People’s Choice award at Pitch@Palace 8.0

Quit Genius, the world’s first app to help people quit smoking, was the People’s Choice winner at the Pitch@Palace 8.0 competition on 1st November 2017. Dr. Maroof Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of Digital Therapeutics, pitched to an audience comprising of HRH The Duke of York, mentors, potential business partners and host Mike Butcher of TechCrunch at St James Palace. Other winners of Pitch@Palace 8.0 were smart frdige iOT technology ‘EatMe’; car insurance for low mileage drivers ‘By Miles’ and the ultra fast charge ‘Zap Go’.

About Digital Therapeutics

Established in 2015, Digital Therapeutics is a health-tech startup founded by medical graduates from Imperial College London on the premise that digital health holds the key to combatting the rising cost of treating chronic non-communicable diseases.
