Aashima Arora is a Partner at venture capital firm LocalGlobe and a former investments lead for the $100Mn Polygon Ventures Fund I for investing in early stage web3 startups globally with LPs such as Softbank, Tiger Global, Sequoia, Accel, Lightspeed etc. Now at LocalGlobe in London, she leads their blockchain practice, ranked #1 early-stage fund in EMEA and #3 globally with highest number of unicorns in portfolio, with companies like SoRare, Copper, Robinhood, Wise, Figma, Twitter, Canva and LP in a16z, Sequoia etc. They've been long standing partners with London Business School and run Newton Venture Program in collaboration for helping boost the VC and entrepreneurial knowledge across the ecosystem. In 6 months, she has now assisted on 2 healthtech deals and led 2 deals in the web3 and AI space respectively in Europe. Prior to this she worked with Citi as the youngest associate on the trading floor in India as well as the Prime Minister’s Office on emerging technology policy and investments for the country.
