Alex Yeung is Co-Founder & COO of Connexin,  based in Hull, which specialises in smart technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT). Connexin is currently designing, delivering and deploying smart infrastructure to support smart city solutions, building multiple carrier grade metropolitan networks in the UK. It has raised a total of £90.1 million in funding over 3 rounds. Their latest funding of £80 million was raised on Sep 10, 2020, led by Whitehelm Capital. Alex Yeung graduated from the University of Hull in 2007 with a degree in Business and Advertising. As Co-Founder of Connexin, Alex has built strong relationships with key suppliers and partners and secured a very loyal customer base and as COO he is running logistics and developing key operative processes. He is an active committee member for the UNICEF charity helping children both locally and across the world and is a Trustee of The Hull Collegiate Trust,  an independent education charity founded in 2000, which  provides financial assistance to new and existing pupils of Hull Collegiate School.
