Ali Parsa
Ali Parsa is an engineer and a healthcare entrepreneur. He founded Babylon in 2013 with the goal of creating an integrated digital healthcare system combining the latest advances in technology with modern medicine; it aims to eventually provide a virtual healthcare service to anyone, anywhere, through any mobile device. Prior to Babylon, Ali founded Circle and built it within a few years to become Europe's largest partnership of clinicians, with some £200m of revenue, near 3,000 employees and a successful IPO. In the mid 1990s, Ali worked in banking for Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He was named by The Times among the ‘100 Global People To Watch’ in 2012, won the 2016 CEO Award by Finance Monthly and ACQ5's UK Gamechanger of the year 2016. Ali is the UK Cabinet Office Ambassador for Mutuals and has a PhD in Engineering Physics from University College London.
