Amit Sinha is the Senior Director for Cloud Engineering Operations in Azure Engineering at Microsoft, leading the service management division for supercomputing. He was previously Chief Technology Officer for SMB, Scale and Private Equity (PE) at Microsoft UK where he advised Companies and PE Houses on their technology roadmap from a technology, business and innovation perspective, drawing on over 10 years of practical experience. He has worked across multiple sectors transforming small and large organisations into nimble Digital Businesses using Cloud, DevOps and Custom Development. Amit is the Chair for the Forbes Technology Council Private Capital community, is an Expert Advisor for the World Economic Forum and is a British Computing Society Fellow. He is an innovation board member for the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) and is a trustee at the Sci4Us charity, an award-winning children’s STEM Club, providing children of all backgrounds with the inspiration and resources to engage in STEM. He is also a trustee at Codebar, a global charity supporting underrepresented groups reskill in software engineering.
