The business has raised over £100M in equity (from Legal & General, Experian, Goldman Sachs and Blenheim Chalcot) and has funded over £1Bn in employee loans (with debt funding from JP Morgan and Virgin Money). Salary Finance was ranked the UK's 19th fastest growing tech company (Deloitte Fast 50) and Europe’s 48th fastest growing tech company (FT 1000) based on 3 years of audited accounts.

Asesh is a serial entrepreneur having also founded Work Report, the UK's first digital employment and income verification service, which was acquired by Experian in 2022. Asesh studied at Warwick and London Business School and is a guest speaker at Harvard Business School on the Salary Finance Case Study relating to business with social purpose.
