Atul Choudrie is the CEO of XYB by Monese, the banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform that aims to expedite the global transition towards banking services that are innovative, accessible, and inclusive. Atul Choudrie joined Monese in 2019 and was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2020, after 20 years working in strategy and commercial roles across banking and fintech. Choudrie has been instrumental in the establishment of Monese’s cloud-based transactional BaaS platform and its strategic partnership with Investec.During his time at Monese, Choudrie has been a member of Monese’s Leadership Team, and he has played a key role in the development of many of Monese’s partnerships, including PayPal, Mastercard and Avios. Atul has a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from Newcastle University and has been a management consultant and experienced executive with a deep knowledge of payments, fintech and neo banking. Prior to joining Monese, he was CCO at Ditto Bank and remains an advisor to a number of blockchain start-ups.
