Housekeep has become the UK’s market leader in the £5bn home cleaning market, delivering 1,500,000 cleans, with an average rating of 4.9* out of 5. It has developed the most comprehensive cleaner management tools on the market, while their job allocation & route optimisation technology has saved cleaners £6m+ in travel costs, and increased cleaner earnings up-to 50%. And it saves an estimated ~1000 tonnes of CO2 emissions/year. Housekeep was named one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies by the Financial Times in 2019, 2020 & 2021.

Before Housekeep, Avin studied at Oxford University, where he was awarded the Harold Wilson prize. Avin then worked as a management consultant before spending 8 years as a VC investor, where he was involved in some of the UK’s most exciting start-ups, including Zipcar and Crowdcube. He remains an active angel investor, having invested in 50+ high-growth businesses. Avin has won numerous awards and was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2022, for services to entrepreneurship & digital innovation in the cleaning industry.
