Azmat Yusuf is the Founder at Citymapper, a transport app for cities. He started the app in 2011 as a guide for Londoners to navigate the city's bus network. While Citymapper is a mobile star in Europe and most people living in big cities are using it every day to use public transportation, it has been a long ride. The firm raised has $50m in three rounds  from VC firms Index Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Balderton Capital, Connect Ventures, and various angels. However, now that the startup works in dozens of cities, and has millions of users, it plans to start monetizing in 2017.

He previously worked at Google, as well as in the venture capital and equities fields for international banks. Azmat graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in both Electrical Engineering and Economics and received his MBA from INSEAD in 2009.
