A seasoned media and technology executive, entrepreneur and early stage investor primarily focused in the UK and India, Bhaskar Majumdar is Chairman at Heath Ventures, a venture capital firm structured as a family office based out of Dubai. Bhaskar is also an investor in technology provider Media Nucleus (I) Pvt. Ltd. based in Mumbai; a Director in Di5, a leading marketing and communications agency headquartered in London, and an Investor/Director in SheSaidBeauty.com, the ultimate Beauty Discovery Box and Social Networking experience for women.

Previously he held a series of positions in the Indian media industry that culminated in being chosen to roll out Zee TV internationally. In 2000, he launched Recreate Solutions – a digital media services company with backing from Insight Partners. Within six years the company grew over 800 people and established itself as global player with offices around the world leading to his first exit. Thereafter he became an early stage investor and advisor for start ups in the media and technology space as well as an advisor to private equity firms.
