Dan has led Sparx' growth into a market-leading, award-winning global business. Sparx Learning is improving the lives of 1.8 million learners in 2.000 + schools across 25 countries through its products. It has raised £50m from an impact-focused family office, one of largest by a UK investor, into UK EdTech. In response to COVID19, Dan led Sparx to develop a free version of Sparx Maths (accessed by schools in 80 countries and recommended by the Department for Education). .

Previously, Dan was a founding member of the Indian Angel Network; Founder/Investor in education ventures in the UK, India, Latvia, Mexico and Canada; part of founding team of 7C (exit to United Utilities and then Oak Hill Capital); Co-founder/Chair of SwiftShift – New York (backed by Bowery Capital); and Venture Partner at Emerge Education.
