David Rai is the CEO of Sparta Global, an award-winning provider of technology careers for emerging talent in the UK. A serial entrepreneur who has worked across technology and gaming in both the UK and US, David co-founded Sparta Global in 2014 to help overcome the IT skills shortage in the UK. By attracting diverse emerging talent and training these recruits in cutting edge technology skills such as Data, Development, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Manual Test and Business Analysis, Sparta Global aims to bridge the digital skills gap with passionate young people.

Born in Coventry to parents who had emigrated from India in the 1960s, David is particularly passionate about giving diverse communities the opportunity to succeed. A staunch advocate for equity for women, ethnic minorities and social mobility in technology, David is committed to helping emerging talent realise their potential in digital careers. He has helped thousands of young people secure roles with blue chip organisations. As of 2022, Sparta Global has provided training and career opportunities for more than 2000 people in the UK and is a proud talent partner to more than 100 organisations.
