Devin Kohli is Co-Head at Outward VC, the- Investec and NIBC backed venture capital fund focused on investing in late-seed to series A stage fintech and enterprise software companies. Outward VC closed its first funding round of £37.5 million in July 2019 and has invested in 11 companies to date, including Primary Bid, a technology platform that allows everyday investors fair & equal access to investing in public companies raising capital.

Devin is also Co-Head of Investec Emerging Companies team focusing on investing and advising early stage, high growth businesses across our 6 core markets: the UK, India, Southern Africa, China, Israel and Australia. Previously, he has 12+ years as a TMT sector banker with Investec completing over two dozen advisory transactions across Asia and Europe and fundraisings totalling c.$1bn for various digital clients. Concurrently originated and led Investec investment rounds in Bud, Curve, Monese, Cashkaro and Smartup amongst others.

He is also the Co-Founder of FinTech North London, a meet-up for founders and C-Levels of Fintech scale-ups. Devin holds Bachelor of Science degree in Government & History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
