Dimple Patel is a serial entrepreneur and senior executive focused on technology businesses with high social impact. Her most recent work as CEO of Trouva (ranked No.1 in Startups 100 Index 2020) saw her navigate the business through the fallout of the MADE collapse in 2022. Dimple fought back against imminent closure, completing 2 acquisitions in 6 months, and securing the long term future of the business.  During her time at Trouva she has scaled their international expansion into 50 customer markets, with offices in 3 locations. The company provided a lifeline to 800 independent businesses across Europe during COVID and has won numerous awards, including Retail Week’s ‘Best Retailer Under £250M’. Dimple started her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 23, buying a business out of administration and turning it around to successfully build Love Koffee, a nationwide coffee chain, which was later acquired by private equity in 2018. Dimple started her career trading Euro Government bonds at Goldman Sachs during the Eurozone crisis of 2009. She holds a First Class MA Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MA International and Development Economics from Yale University, and has completed a Board Accelerator Programme at Harvard Business School. Dimple also works as a Venture Partner for Concept Ventures, the largest pre-seed fund in the UK advising early stage startups.
