Harry Briggs is Partner at BGF Ventures, a £200m venture capital fund investing in UK technology companies with global ambitions Previously, he was a Principal at Balderton Capital for 6 years, leading investment in startups like The Hut Group, GoCardless, Lyst, ROLI and TicTail. Prior to Balderton, in 2002 he Co-Founded Firefly Tonics, a health drinks company that he grew from an initial idea to a widely-recognised luxury brand, with customers in 35 countries, before exiting to Private Equity.

He started his career at McKinsey & Co, advising businesses on branding, marketing, and portfolio improvement. He also spent a year at Hutchison 3G, developing their marketing strategy prior to the launch of ‘3’. Harry holds a first class M.A. in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University.
