Huy Nguyen Trieu
Huy Nguyen Trieu is co-founder of CFTE, Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship, a global Fintech education platform based in London and Singapore. CFTE is an education platform supported by senior leaders from financial institutions, central banks, startups and tech companies and helps the industry upskill, find more opportunities, build better finance services and be part of the Future of Finance. He is also a Venture Partner at Mundi Ventures, an early-stage VC fund in Fintech and Insurtech. Prior to starting up CFTE, Huy was a Managing Director at Citi, and previously at Royal Bank of Scotland and Société Générale. Before banking, he was the CEO of Ukibi, a VC-funded startup in the US. He is also founding partner of Supercharger, Asia's largest Fintech accelerator. As a part of CFTE, a few of Huy's significant achievements include being a part of releasing the Fintech Job Report and the Blockchain Job Report. He writes the blog Disruptive Finance, was the first Fintech Resident at Oxford Said Business School and was on the Fintech advisory board of the World Economic Forum. Today he is entrepreneurship expert at the Oxford Said Entrepreneurship Centre, and a Fintech Fellow at the Centre for Global Finance and technology at Imperial College. Huy is a graduate of MIT (US), École Polytechnique (France), and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées (France).
