Ijaz Akram is Founder and CEO at Mindmix.io, which offers technology advisory and product development services to a growing number of companies. Based in Olympic Village in the Plexal tech hub, they have started gaining traction with both large corporations and smaller start-ups. Prior to this he was Chief Technology Officer at a number of companies including Velocity Black, a London-based startup building the world's first digital members club, where he was responsible for technology, product and user experience, and also Conde Nast owned Style.com (Luxury e-commerce powered by Machine learning) which was successfully acquired by FarFetch. He has a strong pedigree working with West Coast based tech companies and was global engineering leader for Amazon Prime Video ( Living room devices) and a founding member of their London based team, and prior to Amazon was a Principal at Microsoft Xbox. He holds a Master's in Computer Science from Newcastle University, where he was an Engineering and Physical Sciences scholarship winner. Ijaz is based in London, a global technology and product leader with a proven track record of success within entertainment, streaming video, gaming, fashion, publishing & live events. He also sits on the Imperial college computing science board.
