Imran Ghory is a Partner at Blossom Capital focusing on Series A investments in Europe; in January 2020, Blossom capital raised its second fund, a $185 million investment pool aimed at Europe's early stage startups, less than a year after closing its inaugural $85 million one, which ranked in the top 5% of those raised in the U.S. and Europe last year, according to data from Cambridge Associates and Prequin. So far, Blossom has invested in Frontify (Brand Management SaaS; $8.3m Series A), Duffel (Reinventing travel; $4.7m Seed)’ Fat Llama (Rent Almost Anything; $10m Series A) and Tines (Cybersecurity, $15.1m Series A). Before joining Blossom Capital, Imran built his career focused on the data driven analysis of companies, both private and public. This included starting one of the first data-driven deal sourcing practices in venture capital at Index Ventures and leading engineering and data science teams at fintech companies including Bloomberg and MarketInvoice. He holds a BSc in Maths and Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
