Jeevan 'Jeevs' Sunner is Principal at Playfair Capital, a generalist VC fund with a contrarian approach to pre-seed technology investing, where she is a venture investor. Based in London, Playfair invests across the UK and Europe, making 6-8 investments a year and preserving time, capital and resources to help companies post-investment. Playfair has backed 70+ companies across two funds including Thought Machine, Andela, Mapillary and Omnipresent. Jeevs joined as an Associate in September 2020 from PwC and has had a remarkable journey so far. She has led four investments and taken board seats in Material Evolution, Qureight, TTO and Sourcerie.

After studying Pharmacology at University College London, she went on to Intern at BlackRock and PwC. She soon after joined the PwC graduate scheme in the Restructuring/Insolvency department, where she also gained her ACA Chartered Accountant qualification. Jeevs then moved into PwC’s Commercial Innovation team, running the corporate accelerator for early-stage startups and helping startups fundraise for their Series A. She moved to Playfair Capital in September 2020, where she has been focused on working closely with Vinehealth, organising Female Founder Office Hours, and new deal-flow.
