Jing Zhang is the Co-founder and Strategy Director at Aqdot, a Cambridge-based chemtech company focused on commercialising AqFresh, a unique chemistry capable of capturing and releasing other materials, with wide-ranging applications in home care, personal care, nonwovens and automotive interiors. While working to complete her PhD in the Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge, she co-invented the core technology in collaboration with Dr Roger Coulston and prepared the manuscript for publication of the research findings in Science. During her time in Cambridge, she was the president of Cambridge University Entrepreneurs, a not-for-profit organisation aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among students. Prior to Cambridge, Jing was awarded a Bachelor of Philosophy with first class honours and a University Medal from the Australian National University.
