Josephine Liang
Josephine Liang is an award-winning sustainability expert, social entrepreneur, and the CEO of Cauli, UK’s leading tech-enabled reusable food and drink packaging solution for workplace and event dining. Hailed by Al Jazeera as "London's food waste hero" and Sustain as "Robin Hood of the food surplus movement," she has worked with corporations (including Unilever & Sainsburys), local authorities (Westminster City Council) and higher educational institutes (London School of Economics) as well as food enterprises such as Gail’s Bakery, Ole & Steen, and more in cutting food waste and advising on sustainable development. Josephine was awarded a special “Women in Food” award by the Mayor of London in 2019 and was named on Forbes 30 under 30 in 2021. Josephine holds a BA from Colby College and a MSc from University of Oxford.
