Jots Sehmbi is currently Director of IT at University College London (UCL) and the Co-Founder of IT consultancy, BlueGen Group. After joining UCL as the only woman technical lead, she quickly rose up the ranks to become the youngest and only Asian IT Director in the Senior Management Team in 2014. Jots graduated with a First Class BSc in IT & Management from London School of Economics and is a recognised expert in IT consolidation, cloud technologies and driving IT efficiencies. More recently, Jots has co-founded the BlueGen Group, a women-based IT consultancy. The BlueGen Group provides an innovative and flexible way for women in IT to consult and Jots was awarded the Everywoman in Technology Award in 2016 in recognition of this pioneering concept.
