Lisa is CEO and co-founder of Istesso which develops novel treatments for unmet needs in autoimmunity. Its groundbreaking products work by reprogramming cellular metabolism and have applications in autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, as well as cancer. Prior to joining the company in 2007, Lisa spent 10 years at GlaxoSmithKline as a team leader in the Cardiovascular Centre of Excellence and latterly as a group leader in Clinical Pharmacology and Discovery Medicine. She has a PhD in molecular genetics, a degree in biochemistry and an MBA.
