Madhuban Kumar has built products across the finance value chain in payments, treasury, trading and most recently in energy. She is CEO of CarbonLaces which is building an operating system for boosting climate finance with accurate data for insights, actions, and new products. Madhuban is an ex-VC, having worked with Insight Partners cross-border investment in India; corporate VC with Siemens and built products from idea to launch in mobile and NFC (Barclays Oyster card-First Data) with previous experience in finance (GSK), and IP (Camelot, BT). Madhuban also founded the venture-backed Metafused, a cloud-based forex analytics platform which shut down and restructured IO-Tahoe, a division of UK energy provider Centrica, to exit. She has an MBA from the Cardiff Business School University of Wales and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
