Mary Lin
Mary Lin is Co-Founder & CEO at Odin, a London-based investment platform that has raised $3m (£2.4m) in a seed round including contributions from 220 angels through its own investment platform. The group of angels is joined by Lincolnshire-based venture capital firm Haatch, with the family offices O’Shaughnessy Ventures, Material V and IPQ Capital also participating. Angel syndicates, founders and VCs use Odin to raise money from their own networks. The platform says it handles legal, banking, payments and KYC/AML, among other aspects of startup fundraising. It’s also planning to launch a marketplace for angels to discover different syndicates and funds. To date, 5,000 people have invested via the Odin platform in startups and VC funds across Europe, Asia and the US, with 300+ companies receiving investment, mainly at pre-seed and seed. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Imperial College London and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol. She worked as a software engineer and product manager prior to co-founding Odin in 2020.
