Peony Li is the Founder & CEO of Jude, a healthcare company on a mission to bring bladder care into the mainstream. Jude is a community-led consumer healthcare brand offering bladder care education, products, and treatment alongside raising awareness of bladder health. Jude closed a £2 million funding round in March 2022 led by Samos Investments and Reckitt's innovation fund, Access VC among others. Prior to this Peony was Head of Investments at Founders Factory, where she supported and invested in over 60 start-ups. She joined Daye where she commercialised a pain-relieving tampon. Then during the pandemic, distributed six million pieces of protective equipment to frontline workers, carers, and COVID hubs. Born in Hong Kong, Peony moved to the UK alone when she was 15. She read Economics at the University of Cambridge and went on to start a career in finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch before joining Founders Factory in 2017 and Daye in 2019. She also served as a Business Mentor at Innovate UK for 2 years advising other female entrepreneurs.
