Pinesh Mehta
Pinesh Mehta joined the Business Growth Fund (BGF) in September 2015 as an Investor based in Manchester. BGF is an influential investor in small and mid-sized businesses in the UK. With 13 offices throughout the country and 150 + employees, BGF is the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in small and medium-sized companies. They have £2.5bn to support a range of growing companies – early stage, growth stage and quoted – across every region and sector of the economy. Pinesh is involved in all aspects of the investment process from origination through to completion, and supports companies throughout the investment hold period. He has made investments in Grace Cole; Sofology; Carrs Foods and Planixs and sits on the boards of investee companies Kids Planet, Woodall Nicholson, Gaist, Miss Group, Visualisation One and Unique Digital.
Prior to joining BGF, Pinesh spent 11 years at KPMG including 8 years in the Corporate Finance team in Manchester where he gained extensive experience advising vendors, private equity and management teams on a range of mid-market M&A transactions. He gained a degree in Mathematics with Management from the University College London.
