Pooja Patel is a Partner at Venrex, a leading early-stage VC fund (investors in Charlotte Tilbury, Revolut, NotOnTheHighStreet, Just Eat among others). She became a partner in 2018, just 3 years after joining, and manages all aspects of Venrex’s finance and compliance functions across its 11 funds. She also works with several of Venrex's 130 portfolio companies on business planning, financial management and finance-related hiring, and is well immersed in the UK's venture capital and start-up ecosystem. Pooja is qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) (ICAEW). Prior to Venrex, Pooja worked at Deloitte and PwC in their Investment Management and Private Equity departments respectively. She audited a number of small and medium sized private equity companies as well as a leading FTSE 250 entity. Pooja graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Finance and has completed the Investment Management Certificate (levels 1 and 2).
