Prateek Bumb is the Co-founder & CTO at Carbon Clean, which has developed CO2 separation technology designed for industrial and gas treating applications. Their technology aims to enable industries to achieve 'Net Zero'. Headquartered in London, Carbon Clean has offices in India, Spain and the United States. As of November 2021, It had removed over 1.5 million metric tonnes of carbon from 44 facilities across the globe. Carbon Clean has raised a total of $213.6M in funding over 11 rounds; the latest Series C round was raised on May 11, 2022 led by Chevron, Samsung Ventures and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, among others. Skilled in gas, sustainable development, environmental issues, CDM and environmental awareness, Prateek is the principal innovator of its carbon capture technologies. He is responsible for developing and delivering Carbon Clean’s technology roadmap and leading its project engineering team. Prateek graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India with a Master's degree in Engineering.
