Priya Lakhani OBE is the Founder CEO of Century Tech, the artificially intelligent learning platform for teachers and students. Launched in 2015, Century Tech is used in hundreds of schools across the world and is rapidly establishing itself as the global market leader in artificial intelligence in education. The platform uses artificial intelligence, neuroscience and learning science to create constantly adapting pathways for students and powerful assessment data for teachers. Priya won the the Global AI Awards 2017 and helped to establish the Institute for Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Education in 2018.

She began her career as a barrister, specialising in libel, privacy and reporting restrictions for the press, including representing a newspaper in the House of Lords at the age of 25. In 2008, Priya successfully launched Masala Masala, an Indian cooking sauce business with products in nationwide supermarket chains and independent retailers. Passionate about CSR and incorporating a one-one model, the company's charitable arm provided millions of meals and 35,000 vaccinations to the underprivileged in India. She was awarded Business Entrepreneur of the Year by the Chancellor in 2009 and made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2014 in the Queen's Honours List.
