Raj Singh is CEO at Sooqini, an online and mobile task delegator that allows businesses to outsource tasks to trusted local people. It was co-founded by Raj Singh and Tiago Mateus in August 2011 with $1 million from two rounds of funding. Following a BSc in Computer Science from Imperial College, London and an MBA from Insead, Raj spent 9 years working for IBM as a Systems Engineer and Consultant before joining Booz & Company in 1995 as a member of the Information Technology Group specialising in IT strategy development in financial services, telecoms and media. In 2001, he joined Investcorp, an alternative assets investment firm, where his role included equity and debt financing for portfolio companies and fund-raising for two VC funds (total size $530m).

In 2007, he moved to New York based Pervasive Technology Ventures which invested in early stage companies that have developed significant intellectual property before . In 2014, he became the inaugural Chairman and founder member of the UK Sharing Coalition – a body dedicated to making the UK the best place in the world to share.
