Sachin Shende is CEO of KisanHub, a multi-award-winning software solution for the agri-food industry, from grower to integrated producer, which was founded in 2012. KisanHub's crop intelligence platform connects enterprises with their crops to deliver actionable insights. KisanHub has raised a total of $7.7 million in funding over 4 rounds. Their latest funding was £3.4 million raised on Jul 25, 2019 from a Series A round led by Sistema VC.

Sachin grew up on a farm, and combines the insights of a rural upbringing with recognised expertise in the development of data analytics and research platforms. He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Hydraulics from Loughborough University, and prior to founding KisanHub in 2012, managed the development of bond trading and research analytics platforms for Barclays Global Investors and BlackRock.
