Sanchita Saha is Founder and Head of SEO at Citysocializer and Founder of Shellow. She is a UCL Maths Graduate with a seven year BBC background predominantly in digital radio where, following two years in Operations at BBC Radio 1, she formed part of the startup team to launch the urban music station BBC 1Xtra where she stayed on in Production and Marketing roles before leaving to found her first startup Citysocializer.

Citysocializer is an events-based social network and community for young professionals relocating to new cities to meet new friends whilst exploring their city’s social and cultural scene. Since the Covid pandemic, Citysocializer has pivoted to offering over eighty virtual events and classes a month centering around social, wellness, fitness and learning to a worldwide community. Since launching in 2009, the business has raised £1.5m from investors including PROfounders Capital and EC1 Capital.

Most recently in 2019, inspired by a desire to address the gender bias of knowledge and information found online, Sanchita founded Shello, a knowledge-share app and community for women, created as a private space for women to ask and answer questions on any topic from a single platform, allowing the community to crowd-source the knowledge and experience of a global female network.
