Sandeep Bansal

Founder & CEO - Medic Bleep

Dr Sandeep Bansal is a multi award winning doctor and entrepreneur who graduated from Imperial College London with a masters in Paediatrics and Child Health. He is the Founder and CEO of Medic Bleep (a Medic Creations product) and his work has led to Purge the Pager bill presented to the House of Commons. The bill cited Sandeep’s work and how it is saving each nurse 21 minutes and each junior doctor 48 minutes per clinical shift. This will be a key enabler to helping plug the growing challenge of the global health and social care workforce shortage. The international company employs 32 people in 4 continents and is the first digital communication company embedded into the NHS and is expanding across the entire health service. Medic Creations has been listed by the Journal of mHealth as one of the Top 100 Global Digital Health companies.

In 2013, Sandeep started his General Practitioner training at Oxford Deanery where he was also Trainee Lead, representing Oxford Deanery for the Associates in Training (AiT) committee. He is currently a mentor on the RCGP Innovation Mentorship Programme. Sandeep also sits on the board of a 600 bed nursing home group. He was given a Zenith Global Innovation award and a Digital Pioneer award in 2017.
