Shankar Narayanan is the Head for UK, & Ireland at Tata Consultancy Services, a role he has held since 2011. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization and is part of Tata group, India’s largest industrial conglomerate with a turnover of US $13.4 billion for year ended March 31, 2014. TCS has over 300,000 consultants in 46 countries and TCS UK & Ireland is the company's second largest country operation worldwide.

Shankar joined TCS in 1993 and has been with company for over 20 years, working with several of the top global 500 firms in consulting, advisory and leadership roles handling operations and management portfolios working in India, US, UK, Sweden and the Netherlands. He graduated from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India in 1993, with an integrated Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics and Master’s degree in Physics.
