Shefali Bohra
Shefali Bohra is Co-Founder at DotPlot, a breast health monitoring tool. Having won Imperial College London’s Venture Catalyst Programme 2022, she has also been accepted onto the InnovationRCA Startup Programme as well as is a part of MedTech Super Connector 2022 where DotPlot was selected as the national winner of the James Dyson Award 2022. It is a handheld device designed to provide month-by-month comparisons of breast tissue, helping to flag abnormalities as soon as possible as part of self-checking by using sensing technology to build a map of the user's chest. Shefali is a Product Designer who is driven to explore various tangible mediums and technologies to address unmet needs. Her interest lies in healthcare innovation. Previously she has also worked as a Design Researcher and Strategist. She holds a Bachelor of Design, Industrial and Product degree from the National Institute of Design; a Master of Arts degree in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and an MSc degree in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London.
