Sherif Elsayed-Ali is the co-founder & CEO of Carbon Re, a climate tech start-up enabling the decarbonisation of foundation industries. Carbon Re's cloud solution uses deep reinforcement learning to cut fuel costs and emissions in cement production. Sherif previously set up and led the AI for Climate practice at Element AI and was co-founder and director of Amnesty Tech. He has over 13 years of management and leadership experience. Sherif has a BSc in Civil Engineering from the American University in Cairo and an MPA from Harvard.
