Shomila Malik has a proven track record in creating and delivering innovative products for companies undergoing digital transformation and is currently the Principle Product Manager at Skype. From 2013 – 2015, she was Head of the Innovation Lab at Telefonica where she accountable for technology led innovation across its UK business. She has over 14 years experience in conception and delivery of creative mobile services for IBM, FT and Telefonica O2, blending business, technology, and innovation management. Shomila has a BEng in Electronic Engineering from University of Southampton, an MBA from Henley Management College and started her career as a software developer at IBM. She is also a startup mentor, a steering group member for the UK Digital Skills Taskforce and a Board Director at St George’s House, Windsor Castle.
