Smartbell offers a simple precision agriculture solution for livestock rearing and management. The Smartbell system implements a fully-automated solution for livestock management, including distress alerts, herd analysis and customised farm management reports. Using advanced analytics on data gathered from animal wearables, Smartbell also cross references regional data to better understand resource utilisation and promote proven best practices. Smartbell has received £1.1m in previous funding with leading VC investors LCIF LTD and Turquoise Capital LLP, with an additional £1.1m secured in non-dilutive funding. Most recently, it closed a £200K Crowdcube raise as part of a wider round. Veena's core competencies include software design, data analysis and machine learning, strategy, marketing, and leadership.
