Vimla Appadoo is a Service Designer at FutureGov and has a background in social good innovation and social change. In 2016, Vimla was voted a Northern Power Women Top 50 Future Leader and has recently won Young Digital Leader of The Year at the Digital Leaders Awards. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern History from the University of Manchester and started her career as a Program Manager for DotForge, an early stage accelerator for tech social impact startups. Vim is also the Founder of Northern Collective: Women in Public Spaces, a series of networking events to build a working group of people across the North of England to support women in the public space.
