Vin Murria
Vin Murria’s career has included a combination of venture capital, private equity and CEO/operational experience, centered around twenty years of M&A activity in the software sector. Vin spent seven years as Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Computer Software plc, which she founded in 2008. Advanced is a consolidator in the healthcare and business solutions sector which, in March 2015 was acquired by Vista Private Equity. For the five years prior to this, Vin was CEO of Computer Software Group plc. This was initially taken private with backing from HgCapital and subsequently, alongside a merger, was sold to US PE Hellman Friedman in 2007.
Vin is on the boards of three FTSE 250 companies: Zoopla Plc, Sophos Plc and Softcat Plc. She is a Senior advisor at NM Rothschild and her previous roles include COO at Kewill Systems plc and NED roles at Chime Plc, Greenko Plc, Concateno Plc (acquired by Providence), GIC Private equity and Inverness Medical. Vin has a BSc Hons (First) in Computer Science, and an MBA. She was awarded an honoree doctorate from Edinburgh Napier for her services to business. Vin was made an OBE for services to the UK digital economy and advancing women in the software sector in the 2018 New Year's Honours.
