Wendy Tan White is a Technology Investor and Advisor to BGF. She was a Partner at BGF Ventures a £200m early stage tech fund for ambitious entrepreneurs. BGF is a £2.5bn growth capital fund with the mission to support UK businesses with patient capital. Previously she was a General Partner at Entrepreneur First (EF), the world's leading company builder. She joined EF in 2015 to support the growth of EF companies with a £40m Next Stage Fund and programme. Since 2011, EF has created over 100 startups worth over $400m including Magic Pony Technology, Tractable, StackHut, Pi-Top, OpenCosmos, Status Today and Cloud NC. Before that Wendy was co-founder and CEO of Moonfruit, the world's first SAAS website builder. Moonfruit was acquired in 2012 by Hibu plc (formerly Yell Group) to support its transformation to a global digital services provider.

She is a board trustee for The Alan Turing Institute, member of Government Digital Advisory Board, Board of Tech Nation; Imperial College Industrial Liaison Board and on the Board of the Dyson School of Design Engineering. Wendy has a BEng, Computer Science from Imperial College, London and an MA, Smart Textile Design from Central St Martins. She was awarded an MBE for services to technology and business in 2016.
